Sinhagad in the rains - a picture poem

To Sinhagad Fort we’ll go in the rain

To Sinhagad Fort we’ll go once again.

The hills are green...

...and the road is wet

But my little white car – it does not fret.

Bhakri and bhutta – all this we’ll eat

Followed by seengdaana – oh what a treat!

A bunting, a shrike, you are bound to spy

And if you’re lucky - even an eagle in the sky

Memories sweet you will surely gain

If you come to Sinhagad Fort in the rain.

Thank you (bow).
